Ever wonder why some people seem to have all the facts at their fingertips?  It could be because they have a dedication to something.  For 39 years, Andy Brauer has been playing, tweaking, and collecting guitars, and has become one of America's leading authorities on getting the right sound on stage and in the studio.

ANDY BRAUER, born March 1958 in Encino, California, has collected and played guitars since he was 11 years old. He has spent more than 3 decades in the business as a dealer, technician, curator, collector, consultant and appraiser.

From 1979 - 2005, Andy Brauer served as President and C.E.O. of Andy Brauer Studio Rentals, Inc. in North Hollywood, California. It all began when Quincy Jones, Jeff Porcaro, and David Foster encouraged Andy to start a musical equipment transportation and storage company. In 1979, Andy opened a facility in North Hollywood and was soon storing and maintaining equipment for such luminaries as Madonna, Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell and Michael Jackson. But rather than just storing and transporting gear, he went further, to renting fine instruments for concerts and recording.

In 2005, after 100,000 rentals Andy Brauer restructured his business in order to focus on guitar and amp repair service (as opposed to storage, transport or rentals). Today, Andy Brauer is an internationally-recognized guitar and amplifier expert and operates a guitar and amplifier service company at 5437 Laurel Canyon Blvd. in Valley Village (Studio City), California 91607 USA. The company proudly serves clients in and around the Southland and beyond.
