The M60 MODENA is a 60 watt pure tube amp with two channels including a separate EQ on each channel and with Drive functionality on both channels. There are also two separate power output modes; Triode and Pentode.

The M60 MODENA is filled with top quality components. "Hi Andy, I just wanted to shoot you line to say thank you so much for all your help regarding the Elmwood Modena M60. I can't say enough good things about this amp! As you know I have owned everything under the sun as far as amps go but this amp is truly a stand out! Not only does it house some of the best tones in all categories (including the clean channel) but the versatility in terms of channel switching is nothing short of remarkable. TONE TONE TONE!!! I am absolutely floored by the clean channel. THAT I did not expect. Usually these high gain channel switchers have an obligatory clean channel that's usually just *ok* at best but this clean channel is insane!! It's like someone shoved a vintage Twin in there. :) The other surprise was the boost tone on channel 1!!! I was blown away by that! I can pull the sickest SRV tones out of that channel with my 57 Strat. Channel 2 is like a Utopia of incredible crunch tones. I could go on and on about this channel but to keep it simple I'll just say, it's an astonishing achievement in amplification. The only other time I have ever been this caught off guard and blown away by an amp was when I heard a Trainwreck for the first time. Those Guys in Sweden are creating masterpieces on a daily basis.

"To be honest, I was very skeptical with some of the descriptions you gave me about the amp before I bought it; "perfect Blackface clean tones" and "vintage JTM 45 Crunch" those are extremely bold comparisons but I have to say that you were spot on. This amp delivers everything you said it would and SO much more. I firmly believe that this amp (along with the M90) will be regarded as a classic someday.

 > M90 MODENA  . . . the big brother of M60 with the same superior functionality and external design. M90 has 90 muscular watts and 2 KT88 poweramp tubes that run on a significant higher anode voltage and the preamp is slightly modified from the M60. Due to it's higher performance, the M90 has a special designed transformer for the power supply and a heat fan on the back side.

 FAQ differences between the M60 and the M90 Modena  
The M60 uses EL34's as output tubes and the M90 is using KT88's. The preamp circuit is more or less the same in both models. The KT88's are powered with a much higher anode voltage, approx 570 Volts, which affects not only the power amp but also the preamp. The clean channel, in unboosted mode, has more headroom on the M90. In drive mode it has approximately the same amount of gain as the M60. The gain channel has a slight different midrange from the M60. The M90 holds it together better at high levels and do not compress as the M60 does when turned up. The M90 sound is overall bigger with more low end and a glassier high end. Modena M90 is not switchable between Triode and Pentode.
