In particular, we are looking for the following:
1. Guitars made by Fender, Gibson, Martin or Gretsch. We are open to
hearing from you if your guitar is made by some other company, but
these are our preferences.
2. Guitars that are in very good or excellent condition are preferred,
but we consider guitars of all condition. Don't be shy!
3. Guitars that are older (made before 1990). If you're not sure when
your guitar was made, don't worry. When you send us information, we can
figure that out.
If you're interested in possibly selling us your guitar,
here's how to proceed, please email us at andy@andybrauer.com with the
following information:
1. A description of the guitar. Tell us if it's electric,
acoustic, how old you think it is, etc.. Please list any words (like
Fender) and serial numbers that you can see on the guitar.
2. A brief explanation of the condition of the guitar. Do you know if
all the parts are original? Has it ever been repaired for some reason?
3. A brief description of the guitar case, if there is one. Is it
original?
4. Please attach to your emails digital pictures that include front,
back, a close-up of the headstock (at the top of the guitar where the
tuners of the strings are located), and a picture of the guitar in the
carrying case, opened of course!)
5. If you would prefer sending pictures in the mail, you can do that as
alternative. Send the
hard copy of the descriptions requested, along with photos, to:
