12 Feb 2008 Phil D. "The Tele sounds great... Just put it through its paces through a Valve Jr combo and then a Marshall microstack in overdrive. My son listened while I put it through the Marshall in OD -- he said "Cool, that's what an electric guitar is supposed to sound like"!

"Andy, thanks for the short history on this '59 Strat. This is a great guitar with a very unique profile neck. Some of my friends who played this guitar are really impressed with the feel of the neck and the lightweight body. Ohh yeah, they are also impressed with the TONE too!!! This one is almost TOO good to play on a daily basis in fear of wearing out the frets. Do you know the original color of the guitar? Judging from the wear of the neck, it doesn't look like it's gone thru a lot of wear & tear.
